Skip Tiffin as a destination. Go only if family, college business or a Cedar Point stopover brings you: one night, walk downtown, eat on Market Street.
Tiffin is a small Northwest Ohio county seat on the Sandusky River, home to two universities and a former glassworks. It is not a tourist town: there is no commercial airport, no train and no bus hub, so a car is required. What it does have is a compact walkable downtown, a glass museum, a restored 1928 theatre and a handful of local restaurants. Treat it as a one-night stop on a US-224 drive between Findlay and Sandusky, not as a trip in itself.

Get around
Walk downtown and the older grid streets; drive for the highway strip, the supermarket and the parks. US-224 runs through town. There is a small local taxi market and the Mad River bike trail links the fairgrounds to Tiffin University near downtown. No public bus network worth planning around.
