Tianmushan
Do a day trip from Hangzhou (≈6 h round‑trip) to see the cedar forest and temple; skip overnight stay unless you want hiking.
Tianmushan is a 1556 m peak in Li'an County, Zhejiang, known for towering Japanese cedar forests and a temple near the car park. It is reachable by bus from Hangzhou and offers a short hike to the summit, making it a suitable half‑day or full‑day outing rather than a multi‑day base.
