Tervo
Skip unless you want to see Finland's longest inland canal or stay at a nature resort. A 30-minute stop on the Kuopio–Vesanto bus is enough.
Tervo is a small municipality in North Savonia with about 1,650 residents. Its main draw is the 2.1 km Kolu Canal, the longest inland canal in Finland, and a couple of lakeside hotels. Most travellers will pass through on the bus between Kuopio and Vesanto without stopping.
