How to get there
From Tbilisi airport, a taxi or ride-hailing app to the centre takes roughly 30–45 minutes and costs about 30–60 GEL (2026 estimate); agree the price or use the app before you get in. Bus 37 also runs to the centre and is far cheaper.
Inside the city, the metro is the fastest way between the Old Town, Marjanishvili, Vake and Saburtalo. Buy a Metromoney card at a station and top it up; the same card covers buses and the cable car to Narikala. Taxis are metered by app and short hops in the centre are usually a few lari.
