Tagong is a high‑altitude Tibetan town (≈3,700 m) on the road between Kangding and Litang. Its main draws are the grass‑land scenery, Tagong Monastery and nearby Lhagang Monastery, all reachable on foot or by motorbike. A short stay covers the key experiences.
