Sztynort
Skip Sztynort as a destination unless you are sailing the Masurian Lakes and need a marina stop: half a day for the castle exterior and a lakeside walk, then move on.
Sztynort is a tiny village (pop. 170) on a peninsula in Lake Mamry, known mainly for its marina and the ruined Steinort Castle. It works as a short break while sailing or cycling the Masurian Lakes, but has no accommodation, limited food options and no active sights beyond the castle exterior. Most travellers pass through in under two hours.
