Szklarska Poręba
Two nights if you ski or hike; one night as a stop between Wrocław and the mountains. A day-trip from Jelenia Góra works for a single waterfall walk.
Szklarska Poręba is a year-round resort in the Giant Mountains, with the tallest waterfall in the Sudetes and 12 km of ski runs on Szrenica. It is quieter than Karpacz and better for hikers who want direct trail access from the town centre. Most visitors stay one or two nights.
