Suri
সিউড়ী
Half a day is enough for Suri: see the Damodar Temple, buy morabba sweets and move on to Santiniketan or Tarapith.
Suri is the quiet district headquarters of Birbhum, West Bengal. It has one notable temple and a local sweet speciality, but most travellers use it as a short stop between Santiniketan, Tarapith and Bakreshwar. A morning or afternoon covers the town.
