Surandai
Skip Surandai unless you have a specific reason to visit its temples or the rice-farming heritage. A half-day stop from Tenkasi or Courtallam is enough.
Surandai is a market town at the foot of the Western Ghats in Tenkasi district, known for its rice-farming history and a cluster of temples. It has no major tourist infrastructure and is best visited as a short detour from Tenkasi (12 km) or Courtallam (20 km). Most travellers can skip it.
