Suonenjoki

Suonenjoki is a small North Savonia town on the Savonia railway line, known for strawberry farms and a strawberry leaf on its coat of arms. Sights are a timber church, an Orthodox church, a small art gallery and river walks; the town works as a quiet overnight between Kuopio and the southern Lakeland, or a short stop if you are driving Highway 9 (E63).
