Sunrise
Skip Sunrise unless you're going to a Florida Panthers game or shopping at Sawgrass Mills. Half a day is enough for both; otherwise, stay in Fort Lauderdale.
Sunrise is a suburban city in western Broward County, best known for the Amerant Bank Arena (home of the Florida Panthers) and Sawgrass Mills, one of the largest malls in the US. There are no historic downtown or beachfront attractions. Most travellers use it as a stop between Fort Lauderdale and the Everglades or as a shopping detour.
