Sunabeda
Use Sunabeda as a cool-weather stop in summer or a day-trip from Koraput: one night is enough for the HAL plant and the green surroundings.
Sunabeda is a small, planned township in southern Odisha, built around the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) engine plant. It offers a neat, green environment and cooler temperatures than the plains, making it a pleasant summer escape. Most visitors use it as a base for exploring Koraput and the Eastern Ghats foothills, or as a stopover between Visakhapatnam and Jagdalpur.
