Sturbridge is a town of about 9,000 people in south-central Massachusetts, roughly 96 km west of Boston, where Interstate 90 (the Mass Pike, Boston–Springfield–Albany) meets Route 84 (Hartford and New York via I-91). Its main draw is Old Sturbridge Village, a living-history museum of the early 1800s. Most travellers use it as an overnight stop on those corridors, or as a base for autumn foliage, lakes and antique shops. It is not on the coastal I-95 New York–Boston route, which runs via New Haven.

Get around
