Streetsboro is a retail and hotel strip on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80), about 30 min from Akron and 35 min from Cleveland, with roughly 16,000 residents. It has one small Underground Railroad museum, two nature areas and a weekend flea market. Almost nobody comes here for the town itself; people sleep here because rooms are cheap and the highway is at the door. One night is enough, and only if you are driving.

Get around
A car is effectively required. Streetsboro is a spread-out strip on SR 14, SR 43 and SR 303 with no useful local bus; the nearest Amtrak station is in Cleveland, and Akron Metro RTA does not serve the city well. Drive between hotel, shops and parks; expect 5–10 min per hop. Bicycles work on back roads toward Kent, but SR 14 and SR 303 carry fast traffic.
