Almost everyone drives, the sights are spread across the metro, and the headline draw is the Wonders of Wildlife aquarium. Get around
Springfield is flat and car-first. Downtown, Commercial Street and the MSU campus are walkable or bikeable, but the aquarium, zoo and battlefield need a car, taxi or rideshare. I-44 crosses the city; US 60, 65 and 160 and Missouri 13 are the other main roads. Greyhound runs along I-44, usually transferring in Tulsa for Dallas and Austin.
