Springdale sits at the southwest entrance of Zion National Park, on a single street (UT-9) lined with hotels, outfitters and restaurants. Almost everyone is here for the canyon: the free park shuttle stops in town April–October, so you can leave the car at your hotel and walk to the entrance. Get around
The town is one street, UT-9, and most lodgings, cafés and the market sit within a 20-minute walk of the park entrance. In season the free Zion Canyon shuttle runs a Springdale loop with 9 stops, so park your car at the hotel and ride in. Bikes are a fast alternative on the Pa'rus Trail and the canyon road.
