Get around
You need a car. Distances are short in km but there is no useful bus network for visitors, and the Suncoast Parkway is the fast link to Tampa. Rideshare exists but waits can be long outside the US-19 corridor; taxis are scarce. Bikes work on the Suncoast Trail, not for errands.
