Slutsk
Слуцк
Slutsk is a half-day stop for the Slutsk Sashes Museum and a walk past the Soviet-era centre; not worth a dedicated trip unless you are already passing through Minsk Region.
Slutsk is a quiet town in Minsk Oblast, known for the ornamental silk sashes that once adorned Polish–Lithuanian nobility. The Museum of Slutsk Sashes is the main draw; the rest of the town is compact and can be seen in a few hours. Most travellers use it as a short detour between Minsk and Salihorsk or Mogilev.
