Get around
The CTA Yellow Line (Skokie Swift) runs only between Dempster–Skokie and Howard, where you change to the Red or Purple line for downtown Chicago. CTA and Pace buses cover the rest of the village and meet at Old Orchard, the Skokie CTA station, downtown Skokie and Village Crossing. A car makes the suburbs much easier; I-94 (Edens Expressway) has exits at Touhy Avenue and Dempster Street, and US-41 runs through as Skokie Boulevard.
