Sitapur
Skip Sitapur unless you have a specific reason to stop: the town has a few temples and a local market, but nothing that justifies a detour from Lucknow or a dedicated trip.
Sitapur is a small city on the NH-24 highway between Lucknow and Delhi, known locally for a handful of temples and handwoven Khairabaad daris. It has no major sights, limited accommodation and few restaurants. Most travellers pass through without stopping; those who do stay find a quiet, unremarkable town that works best as a short break on a road trip.
