Simpelveld

Simpelveld is a village of about 10,700 people in South Limburg, 30–45 minutes by bus from Heerlen and close to the A76/A79. Get around
The centre is small enough to walk. For the outskirts, nearby villages and the hill routes, rent a bike at the Natuurtransferium on Kruinweg or use a car. Buses 20, 21 and 26 link Heerlen and Kerkrade to Simpelveld in about 30–45 min; bus 350 plus a change in Gulpen connects Maastricht in about 1 h. The village rail station is used only by the tourist steam train.
