Silverdale is an unincorporated retail hub on Dyes Inlet, midway between Bremerton, Poulsbo and Port Orchard, and the Kitsap Peninsula's largest shopping cluster. It is not a sightseeing town: you come for a bed, a mall, waterfront parks and easy road access to the rest of the peninsula. Most travellers pass through in a night or use it as a cheaper base for Seattle ferry day trips.
