Shibayama
芝山
Skip Shibayama unless you need a quiet rural walk near Narita Airport: half a day is enough, and there is no compelling sight that justifies a detour.
Shibayama is a small, rural town next to Narita Airport, known mostly for its golf clubs and the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences. The only train line is Japan's shortest independent railway, running two stations from the airport. Most travellers pass through en route to Narita or Tokyo, not as a destination.
