Sheringham

Sheringham is a small North Norfolk seaside town of about 7,000 people, 10 km west of Cromer on the A149 and the northern end of the Bittern Line from Norwich. It works as a 2-night base for the coast path, a heritage steam railway and a National Trust park, and it is compact enough to walk end to end in about 20 minutes. Most visitors come for a long weekend between May and September; the town is quiet out of season and some attractions close.
