Shefford is a rural township in the Eastern Townships, wrapped around the town of Waterloo and sitting between Granby and Bromont. There is no village core to walk: the draw is Mont Shefford (525 m), the L'Estriade cycle path, farm shops, a cidery and a hilltop microbrewery.
