Sévaré
Half a day to overnight: a crossroads stop for Mopti, Bandiagara and Djenné, not a destination itself.
Sévaré is a transport hub 10 km southeast of Mopti, with the region's only airport and a handful of hotels. Most travellers pass through on the way to the Dogon Country, Djenné or Timbuktu. One night is enough if you need to break a long road journey; otherwise treat it as a transit point.
