Santo Antônio do Pinhal
A half-day or one-night stop between São Paulo and Campos do Jordão: paragliding at Pico Agudo, a waterfall swim and a stroll through the Jardim dos Pinhais park.
Santo Antônio do Pinhal is a smaller, quieter alternative to Campos do Jordão, set in the Serra da Mantiqueira. It draws visitors for paragliding off Pico Agudo, the 18 m Cachoeira do Lajeado waterfall and the Jardim dos Pinhais Ecco Parque. Most people see the town in a half-day or overnight stop en route to Campos do Jordão or the North Coast.
