Get around
The historic core is walkable — mission, Los Rios street, shops and restaurants sit within about 15 minutes on foot of the train station. Free summer trolleys loop downtown to Dana Point and link to the Laguna Beach trolley on 20-minute frequencies. A car is only needed for the beaches, Ortega Highway hikes and Caspers Wilderness Park.
