Salinópolis
Salinas
Go for a weekend or a midweek beach escape from Belém; 2 nights are enough for the main beaches and seafood. Skip if you want wild Atlantic coast or surf.
Salinópolis (Salinas) is Pará's busiest beach resort, packed with Brazilians in July and on weekends year-round. Its calm, warm waters and long sand strips make it a simple, family-friendly getaway. Most visitors come from Belém (2 h by bus) for 1–3 nights. The town itself is scruffy; the appeal is the beach strip and the seafood.
