Get around
The centre is flat and walkable: gallery, shops, pubs and the Port of Sale are within about 15 minutes on foot. A car is needed for the swing bridge, Lake Guthridge and anything beyond town; Hertz, Budget and Avis all have desks on York Street. Little's Gippsland Coaches runs local buses, but services are thin.
