Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu

Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu is a small municipality on the west bank of the Richelieu River in the Pierre-De Saurel area of Quebec, roughly 65 km from Montreal. It is a boating, camping and rural stop rather than a sightseeing town: a 19th-century church, a seasonal river ferry to Saint-Ours, two campgrounds and horse ranches. Get around
A car is the practical way to reach the village and its dispersed rural sights, campgrounds and ranches; check current local transit availability before relying on it. Route 223 runs along the west bank of the Richelieu River and Autoroute 30 is the main highway link to the north; check a current map for the exact approach to the village. The seasonal ferry links the village dock at the end of rue Principale to Saint-Ours on the east bank, saving the long detour to the Autoroute 20 or 30 bridges.
