Rwaihamba
Half-day stop from Fort Portal: see Mahoma Falls, walk between crater lakes, then return. Not a base.
Rwaihamba is the main village in the crater lakes area south of Fort Portal, western Uganda. It has a few waterfalls, basic campsites and two luxury lodges. Most travellers visit on a half-day trip from Fort Portal or use it as a quiet overnight stop between gorilla treks.
