By car
The usual route is I-15 north-east out of Las Vegas into Utah, then SR-9 east through La Verkin and Virgin to Springdale (check current road conditions and any closures with UDOT before setting out). Allow 2h45m without stops and 3h15m with a fuel or food break in St George (check).
SR-9 passes through the park's Zion–Mount Carmel tunnel, which has vehicle-size restrictions and a fee for oversized vehicles; check the current rule with the National Park Service before you drive a large RV or trailer. Parking inside Zion fills early in season, so many visitors park in Springdale and ride the town shuttle to the entrance, then the park shuttle up the canyon.
