Rossford
Skip Rossford as a base: it is a Toledo suburb with a casino, a sports dome and a marina, worth half a day or one night if you are already in Northwest Ohio.
Rossford is a small Ohio river town of about 6,300 people, 15 minutes south of downtown Toledo on I-75 and the Ohio Turnpike. Get around
A car is the default: the casino, shopping and sports complex are spread along Route 20 and I-75, and sidewalks are patchy between them. Local buses run from Toledo, but service is thin and slow. Taxis and rideshare work but you may wait 10–20 min. Walking is fine inside the historic district and along the river path.
