Rosemead
Skip Rosemead as a destination: it's a residential suburb with no major sights. Use it only as a budget sleep base near the I-10 for a night, then move on.
Rosemead is a small, quiet city in the San Gabriel Valley, about 15 km east of Downtown Los Angeles. It has no tourist attractions beyond a heritage house and a public aquatic centre. Most travellers pass through on the I-10 or stay at its chain hotels for a cheaper night near LA. One night is enough if you need a bed; otherwise skip it for Pasadena or Alhambra.
