Roseau by district
Roseau is a grid of a dozen streets between the sea and the hills. The Bayfront and Old Market Plaza sit on the sea; Great George Street runs east from the old market; the Botanic Gardens and Morne Bruce rise to the north-east. The rest of Dominica lies along a single ring road: Canefield to the north, Trafalgar and the hot springs up the valley, Soufrière and Scotts Head to the south.
