Rhoscolyn
Half-day or one night if you want quiet beaches and a pub lunch; skip if you need more than a coastal walk and a meal.
Rhoscolyn is a small village on Holy Island, west of Anglesey, with two good beaches (Silver Bay and Borth Wen), a medieval well and a 19th-century church. It's a stop for a walk, a swim and a pub meal, not a base for more than one night.
