Redenção is a small inland town about 60 km from Fortaleza. Its only major attraction is the Museu Senzala Negro Liberato, a slavery‑and‑liberation monument with a nearby cachaça distillery. The museum is open daily 8 AM‑5 PM and charges R$ 2. Buses run every half hour from Fortaleza, making a day visit easy.
