Mũi Né is a 15 km strip of resorts east of Phan Thiết, known for its red and white sand dunes, a fishing harbour of round boats and steady winter winds that made it a kitesurfing centre. The expressway from Saigon cut the drive to about 3.5 hours. Since 2025 it belongs to Lâm Đồng province (check).
