How to do it well
- 1Go by car or a flat walk along the promenade to Posto 6; the fort is at the very end of the beach.
- 2Buy the ticket at the entrance; carry ID (check the rule at the gate).
- 3Follow the ramps to the museum, the gun batteries and the lookout, then finish with a coffee at the café.
- 4Walk on to Arpoador afterwards if the sun is not too high.
