Entry is paid at the gate or online; no separate ticket for the Boomslang canopy walkway or the Conservatory — both are included.
The garden is large: the main lawns near the gate are flat, but the Boomslang and the Skeleton Gorge side climb the slope.
Summer Sunday Concerts (Nov–Apr, check dates) bring a picnic crowd from mid-afternoon; go earlier in the day to see the garden itself.
No dogs. Picnics are welcome on the lawns; braais (barbecues) are not.
