Ranaghat
রাণাঘাট
Half a day is enough: walk the Churni river bridge, see Hijuli Forest, take a boat cruise. Not a base — use it as a stop between Kolkata and Krishnanagar.
Ranaghat is a small Nadia town on the Churni River, best known for its river bridge and forest patch. Most visitors come for a few hours on the way to Nabadwip or Mayapur. The town has no major sights beyond the river and forest, so a half-day stop is enough.
