Rajpura
Skip Rajpura unless you have family or business there. It's a small transit town with one fort and no major sights; 30 minutes is enough to see the Qila on the way to Patiala or Chandigarh.
Rajpura is a small city in the Malwa region of Punjab, 42 km from Chandigarh and 230 km from Delhi. It was settled after Partition by Saraiki-speaking migrants from Bhawalpur. The main landmark is a Mughal fort (Qila) built by Sher Shah Suri. Most travellers pass through without stopping.
