Rajnagar
রাজনগর
Spend 2–3 hours in Rajnagar on a Birbhum heritage loop: see the Imambara, Motichur Mosque and the old arsenal, then move on to Suri or Dubrajpur.
Rajnagar is a former Mughal-era zamindari seat with a cluster of 17th–18th-century buildings: an Imambara, a mosque and an arsenal. The town is small and quiet; half a day covers the main sights. Most travellers visit as part of a Birbhum circuit from Santiniketan or Bolpur.
