Raichur
Skip Raichur unless you need a stop between Hyderabad and Hampi: half a day for the fort, then move on. One night if you arrive late.
Raichur is a dusty market town in Northern Karnataka with a 13th-century hill fort and little else for tourists. Most travellers use it as a transit point between Hyderabad (200 km) and Hampi (about 150 km). The fort is worth a quick visit; the thermal power plant in Shaktinagar is not.
