Pick Quy Nhơn for a quieter beach city with Cham towers and fishing villages, two or three nights between February and August; it is where Nha Trang was 20 years ago.
Quy Nhơn is a relaxed port city with a clean city beach, Cham towers in town (Tháp Đôi) and in the countryside, and coves like Kỳ Co and Eo Gió to the north. Since 2025 it belongs to Gia Lai province after a merger with Bình Định (check addresses).

- Conversation: Expect questions about age, marriage and income; they place you, not pry; avoid: Raising your voice or correcting someone in front of others
- Temples and pagodas: Covered shoulders and knees; step over the raised threshold; enter by the right-hand door; avoid: Sitting with your back to an altar; climbing statues for photos
- Photos: Ask first, especially in minority villages; avoid: Paying children for photos — it keeps them out of school
