Puerto Esperanza
Spend 4–5 h in Puerto Esperanza for beach and local culture; stay overnight only if you book a casa particular.
Puerto Esperanza is a tiny fishing village on the Caribbean coast of Pinar del Río, just north of Viñales. Its beach, local tavern and a few casas particulares make it suitable for a half‑day stop. There are no hotels, so overnight stays require a pre‑booked casa particular.
