Get around
The town is compact: walk Commercial Street and Bradford Street. Bicycles are the best way to reach Race Point and the Province Lands loop (rentals on Bradford Street and Commercial Street, summer only). The Provincetown/North Truro shuttle runs late May to late September between the ferry dock, the visitor centre, beaches and Highland Lighthouse. Taxis cover the airport and late nights; a rental car is only worth it for day trips off the Cape tip.
