Prantik
প্রান্তিক
Prantik is a 1-night stop for the Sonajhuri Hat weekend market and easy access to Santiniketan, not a destination on its own.
Prantik is a small town just north of Santiniketan, on the road from Bolpur. Its main draw is the Sonajhuri Hat, a weekend handicraft market with Baul music, and a handful of mid-range hotels. Most travellers use it as a quiet base for Santiniketan or a stop on the way to Tarapith or Bakreshwar.
