Potlatch
Skip unless you need a quiet overnight on the Olympic Peninsula loop: one night is enough, and only if you want a state park beach or a casino resort (check casino visitor access).
Potlatch is a tiny unincorporated community on Hood Canal, US 101. It has a state park with a beach, a casino resort, and not much else. Most travellers drive through in 10 minutes. Use it as a sleep stop between Port Angeles and Olympia, or skip it entirely.
